Beverly Kay Schuster, 81, of Golden, Illinois, passed away at 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Golden Good Shepherd Home.
Beverly Kay Aden Coggeshall Schuster was born in Quincy, Illinois, on July 20, 1944, the daughter of John A. Aden and Virginia L. (Jud) Aden.
Beverly spent her early years in a lovely country home between La Prairie and Chatton, Illinois. It was a wonderful life. She attended La Prairie Grade School and graduated with the class of 1962 from Central High School. She was lucky enough to work in her hometown for 43 years at the Golden State Bank, where she built lasting relationships with numerous loyal customers.
She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden, Illinois, where she served on the church council, participated in various committees, and sang in the choir. Later in life, she remained a dedicated member of the Lutheran faith. Many pets found their way to her and were cared for. Her love for them found no limit. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her friends.
She married Norman Eilers in 1963, Marvin Ted Coggeshall in 1978, and later married Ted Schuster on October 7, 1994.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Ted; her daughter, Amanda Kay Coggeshall whom she adored and was very close. Her sister-in-law, Doreen Weese, along with close friends and cousins.
Funeral Services for Beverly will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the Triplett Funeral Home in Golden. Interment will immediately follow at the Golden Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m. Memorials are suggested to the Quincy Humane Society.
