Charlotte Francis D’Camp, of Rushville, formerly of Quincy Terrace in Quincy, passed away at 3:30 AM, Friday, September 30, 2016, at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born on April 16, 1949, in Rushville, the daughter of the late Samuel Thomas and Clesta (Clanin) D’Camp.
Surviving are one brother Claude D’Camp and wife Donna of Ashland, four sisters Ethel Abbey and husband Orville of Jacksonville, Shirley Bassham and Jeannette D’Camp both of Littleton and Earline Fox and husband Eugene of Pittsburg, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers Samuel and Thomas D’Camp and two sisters Joyce D’Camp and Julia West.
Charlotte enjoyed latch hooking rugs, ceramics, painting and crafts. She loved when people would tease her. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed attending church services.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at the Brooklyn Cemetery, at Brooklyn with Pastor Sam Stringer officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday, October 3, 2016, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville. Memorials are suggested to the Brooklyn Cemetery.
