Joyce M Buss

Joyce M. Buss, 84, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

Joyce was born on May 17, 1938 in Quincy, to Waldo and Anna (Haschemeyer) Post. She married Gerald “Jerry" Buss on February 9, 1958, and together they had two sons. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2016.

Joyce was a past Director of the Junior Choir, a member of the Adult Choir and a member of the Handbell Choir at Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the W.E.L.C.A. She was an Avon Representative for over 20 years, enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great- grandchild. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Joyce is survived by her sons; Philip (Kim) Buss of O’Fallon, Missouri, and Andrew Buss of Golden, Illinois; grandchildren Eli Buss, and Sophie Buss; great-grandchild, Milo Buss.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry; and brother, Eugene Post.

Services for Joyce will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden, Illinois. A visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time. Pastor Tom Graves will officiate.

Interment will follow at Golden Memorial Gardens.
