Mark A. Wallis, 50, of Golden, Illinois, formerly of Clayton, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.
Mark was born on March 8, 1975, and was the son of Ronnie and Bonnie (Lane) Wallis. He attended both Liberty and Central Schools.
In his career, Mark started as a truck driver before transitioning to maintenance work for the Quincy Housing Authority at Lampe High Rise in Quincy, Illinois. A passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan, he enjoyed hands-on activities like backyard mechanics and home remodeling. Above all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren and special dogs, Chloe and Zeus.
He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Bonnie Wallis of Golden; significant other, Melissa Ann Wilson of Golden; sons, Cameron (Aliyah) Wallis of Clinton, MS, Peyton (Chelsea) Parr of Bushnell, IL, and Preston Parr of Quincy; daughters, Victoria (Brandon) Hawk of Lacon, IL and Ashely (Bryce) Baker of Augusta, IL; brother Jason Wallis; sisters Cindy (Shaun) Clark of Mendon, IL and Stacy (Tom) Pinkerton of Jacksonville, IL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Little.
In accordance with Mark’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. At this time, no formal services are scheduled. Memorial contributions to assist the family with funeral expenses are appreciated.
