Mary Louise Vogler Paisley Fegley, 94, of Peoria, formerly of Rushville, passed away at 2:15 AM, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Lutheran Hillside Village in Peoria.
She was born on May 4, 1927, in Woodstock Township, Schuyler County, Illinois, the daughter of Albert Cecil and Essie (Covey) Tomlinson. She first married Clinton “Bud” Vogler on March 7, 1947, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1983. She later married Merle Paisley on January 31, 1985 at Round Rock, Texas and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2000. She then married Eldon Fegley on November 30, 2002, in Alabama and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2009.
A 1946 graduate of Rushville High School, she first worked as a clerk at Brown, Lynch, and Scott in Rushville. She was an aide and ward clerk at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville. From 1968 to 1979, she worked as the Cashier at Schuyler State Bank in Rushville.
Mary was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Rushville. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and coloring.
Surviving are four children Kay Bartley of Chillicothe, Judy (Ed) Greiert of Camden, Kenneth (Lora) Vogler of Rushville, and Jan (Jeff) Jones of Washington, eight grandchildren Edward Greiert, James (Jenny) Bartley, Nicole(Ryan) Baillie, John David Bartley, Chris (Andrea) Vogler, Heather (Larry)Putnam, Andrew (Chelsea) Jones, and Clinton (Ashley) Jones and numerous great and great great grandchildren, one brother Tommie Tomlinson and wife Phyllis of Georgetown, Texas, a sister-in-law Lela Tomlinson of Quincy and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, three brothers Albert Tomlinson, Russell Tomlinson and Donald Tomlinson, and two sisters Alice Hiles and Lois Henninger.
Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 21, 2021, at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville, with David Haney officiating. Interment will follow in the Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Friday until service time at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville. Memorials are suggested to the Lutheran Foundation Benevolent Fund or the American Cancer Society.
