Phyllis Osborne

Phyllis Elaine Osborne, 89, of Golden, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 23, 2014) in Golden Good Shepherd Home.

She was born March 5, 1925, in Golden, a daughter of the late Samuel and Jennie (Aden) Worman. She married Harold Eugene "Gene" Osborne on July 2, 1950, in Golden. He passed away March 2, 2006.

Gene and Phyllis owned and operated Osborne Food Center in Golden for 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Phyllis is survived by one daughter, Ladona (Dan) Wilson, of Golden; two grandchildren, Keith (Krista) Wilson of Golden and Jennie (Neil) VanDeVelde of Golden; five great-grandchildren, Kylie and Kwinn Wilson and Alea, Wyatt and Emma VanDeVelde, all of Golden.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Smith and Donna Ideus, and one brother, Ronald Worman.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden with the Rev. Brad Eidson conducting. She will be laid to rest in Golden Memorial Gardens in Golden.

VISITATION: From 10 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.

MEMORIALS: Trinity Lutheran Church, Golden Good Shepherd Home or the Youth and Family Ministry of Immanuel and Trinity.
