Vianna Parker Green Reichert, 93, of Quincy, died Sunday (Sept. 15, 2013) in the Good Samaritan Home in Quincy.

Vianna was born on June 30, 1920, in Chattanooga, Okla. She was a daughter of the late Samuel Clarence and Olive Lena (Hardesty) Parker. She was raised in North Central and West Texas until 1942. She married Delbert M. Green on Jan. 11, 1942, in Bryson, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1945, while serving his country during WWII in Luzon, Philippines. She later married Ralph John Reichert on Dec. 18, 1948, in Mendon. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1974.

Mrs. Reichert was a cardiac technician for Blessing Hospital, retiring in 1985.

She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Mendon and a member of the Blessing Hospital 10-Year Plus Club. She enjoyed bowling, quilting and cooking and was an avid reader.

Survivors include two children, James D. Green and his wife, Carol, of Camillus, N.Y., and Mary Ann Cornwell of Quincy; five grandchildren, Ashleigh K. and Matthew B. Green, both of Camillus, N.Y., Katie A. Holbrook and her husband, Jared, of Quincy, Alex M. Lammers and his wife, Shawna, of Washington, Mo., and John R. Lammers and his fiancA�AC.e, Elizabeth Andrew, of Quincy; four step-grandchildren, Heather Cornwell of Quincy, Chris Cornwell and his wife, Jessica, of Quincy, Nathan Cornwell and his wife, Kendra, of O'Fallon, Mo. and Kayla Cornwell of Quincy; four great-grandchildren, Leah Holbrook, Lane Lammers, Arianna Cornwell and Kenady Cornwell; one brother, John G. Parker and his wife, Mary Ann, of Graham, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two premature infant sons; six sisters, Rena Isham, Ila Mae Parker, Cleo Stonecipher, Alice Green and Birdean Green, and Florence Van Hoose; a mother-in-law, Mamie Tuttle (Delbert's mother); and one son-in-law, Pat Cornwell.

SERVICES: A celebration of Vianna's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon. Interment will be in Mendon Cemetery.

VISITATION: 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

MEMORIALS: Salem Lutheran Church or the Good Samaritan Home.
